SOLD 6/22/23 $156 on eBay. Wow! Your doll will look sharp in these! Vintage or antique miniature doll spectacles with celluloid and wire frames are just 2.5" wide. The lenses are .75" diameter. Age is unknown. Our best guess is early 1900's, but could be later.
The box shows a lot of wear, the lenses are scratched, but the glasses are complete and with the original box. Please see photos for complete description.
The box measures 3.25" L x 2" W x .5" H. and reads: Society Doll's Glasses, RIGGS OPTICAL COMPANY, EXCLUSIVELY WHOLESALE. An internet search yielded similar items on which the box reads: Society CCW Co Providence RI, and Society Dolly Specs, C.A. Wilkinson Co. Providence RI.
